Default Summer purses

These are 2 more purses that I made with the Vera pattern. The first one I made was with the brown with bright funky flowers on it. The purse with the 'Fun in the Sun' ladies is for me. I wanted to try the pattern with the fusible fleece to give it more stability. That stuff is a pain to fuse. I think next time I will just use Warm and Natural and quilt it a little more. The beige/ teal purse is for my DDIL. She is coming to Michigan with my DGS tomorrow and her birthday is in August- plus she is a photographer and I saw the Moda fabric with the antique cameras on it and immediately thought of her. Then I found the cosmetic bag pattern on the internet and made those too. I hope that she likes them as much as I do. The purse is very easy to make and there are so many things you can do for the bag body to change the look of it.

Your purses are wonderful. I would be proud to have either one. I have never made a purse (just tote bags) and you have inspired me to try to make one. Thanks for sharing.
