Last year I made my daughter Darlene and her family a Countdown Quilt for Christmas. As a surprise for me, she entered it in the Deerfield Fair and I won a Blue Ribbon!

First time to post a picture and it worked. The quilt was an adaption of a quilt from "Hearts A Plenty". The squares are envelopes with bells on the flaps and we placed ornaments in the envelopes for the grandkids to place on a tabletop tree. I did 24 squares because of the space where the quilt was going to hang. It proved to be a big hit with the grandkids!
