Ah, that's Technicolor Jane made by Diane Rode-Schneck and Judy Doenias, two awesome teachers at The City Quilter.

One of the coolest Dear Janes ever made.

I'm glad you all had a wonderful trip to NYC.

Glad you all had fun. I going to try to put together a meet and greet outing with the quilters in our area.

    Swatch is adorable :-D

I wanted to thank Maria, Marcia and Barbara for a wonderful day in New York yesterday. I am in awe of your knowledge and talents. Each of you are a true inspiration to me. Please know that when I left you yesterday my mind was spinning with ideas for future projects. Your enthusiasm for this craft is infectious!! :D

I posted this in a thread over in Events:

The Manhattan quilt guild, Empire Quilters, will be having their bi-annual quilt show at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) that same weekend. It's always a fantastic show, with great vendors, and definitely worth the visit.

So if you're planning to come in for the Red&White exhibit, it would be worth your while to stop by the quilt show as well. Make it a weekend. You can generally Priceline great rates even for NYC.

    Enjoy your visit to NYC!

I just got the postcard from the armory advertising the Red/White quilt show - it's so graphic. It's going to be an awesome display.

As I said on Barbara's (butterflywing) post, I am Marcia
from the group. I truly had a wonderful time meeting
each of you, Maria, Barbara, and Alice. I came to NYC
with my daughter who came to a conference for her work.
I had Tuesday to keep myself occupied, and saw Maria's
post here on the QB a couple of weeks ago when she said
that she lived in NYC and would be happy to take anyone
around that was in the area. So, I contacted her and then
Barbara and Alice joined us. I can honestly say that this
Texan met 3 wonderful ladies and the day was one of
the highlights of my trip. We had a great time!
(and yes, Swatch is from Project Runway and he was
    adorable).

    Barbara,
Keep me posted when this will take place and I
just might come back up. Also, we have some
great events here in TX - maybe we could get a
good group together for some of those.
