Thanks everyone for the comments! At times I thought it would do me in but I finally made it. The book is called 'Better by the Dozen' by Susan Teagarden Dissmore. There are a dozen different blocks in there and several choices of layouts and enhancements. We had 6 months to do them, doing 2 or more blocks a month. This layout required 18 blocks so some are duplicated with different fabric and colors. It was a challenge and hopefully made me a better quilter by doing it. It's not perfect believe me!
