Default Bonnie Hunter inspired quilt is now finished

Finished this in time for my son for Christmas. Entire top is made of recycled men's shirts, even the binding. Those folks who watch quiltcam might remember when Bonnie made the dancing nine patch quilts for her nephews and she kept saying she was making them bigger than crib size for their "big boy beds" Well this is for my "big boy" 19 year old son. I kept thinking of this as I was making it for him!

I'd love to make a quilt from recycled men's shirts. Unfortunately I don't have a ready source. I find myself coveting the shirts of my co-workers. LOL

Your quilt turned out great. I'm sure your it will be appreciated.

I bought most of my shirts at thrift stores. Love the quilt by the way!

I was sitting in the office one day conferring with a male co-worker when I realized that his shirt would be perfect for a Christmas project in blues. I had to re-focus immediately. Maybe if you let them know you could re-purpose their shirts they could contribute to your cause.
