Just finished two quilts for G Grandsons. thought y'all might like to see them. Ethan 10, is a bookworm! If he is awake, he has a book in his hand! Elijah, just 5, was not all that impressed with his wizard quilt until his ride home in the car!

Does not that picture make it all worth it though? I guess a quilt isn't as good a pressie as toy truck but he sure seems to be liking it here!

I am feeling guilty... I did not tell you the most important thing about these two quilts. My 45 year old daughter CJ who never sewed a stitch in her life until this year, cut and pieced the tops!! This is her number 5 and 6 quilts. I realize the designs are simple, but don't want her to get discouraged with a complicated cut or piecing issue!! I am really proud of her! Finally!!! she gets to experience the joy of accomplishment through sewing and quilting! I am only responsible for the FMQ on these two quilts.
