Got 2 going home on Monday

Jaba sent the dainty cream floral with dancing butterflies.

Now then, LovingIzabella had a naughty streak in her. She sent this special fabric to a few of us as she was wanting a wall hanging. I'm not sure where she'll hang this but Dad & I racked our noggins but finally came up a design to high light her lingerie fabric. We decided to show it off front and center. Hope she likes our creation. It's pieced, appliqued, reverse appliqued and embroidered.

Two more went out the door on Monday 3/11

Phannie sent in a beautiful Red Oriental Rose fabric and asked to use the colors in her fabric.

Elizabrat sent in some tiny smiling pumpkins for her Halloween quilt. She asked for purples, oranges and "no spiders".... Hoping she likes this from us. Dad thought it was super bright and loved it.

Been awhile since I've posted a block... Hubby is having changes at work, gkids been sick and Dad's brother has cancer so we've been doing everything but sewing it seems.

Had a difficult time with this fabric...she only wanted white but it was a very focused print. Here's a picture of the fabric and of the block I ended up with. It actually didn't have a pattern, just "ideas" from other jar blocks. Hope Lestrong likes it.

Each label was around 3 1/2" each. If you cut them up, you'd lose the entire idea of the fabric.

Got to get sewing this week

Couple grown up blocks will head to the east on Wednesday...one to NH and one to Japan.

Marcialee sent in a cheery cherry colored f8 and asked for just white to be used.

Gaijin had a dainty blue floral and also asked for just white with it. She had sent a personalized note to Dad so he was in charge of her layout. He tried out 5 - 6 designs and decided upon this one. I think he did pretty good.

(The red background was just so the block would show up)

After a long time of no blocks (Took Dad to see his brother and then back to the funeral the next week, phew and I got sinus infection in between times), here is a block for Dahna42. She sent in the baseball fabric and asked for just the colors in the fabric to be used. I thought a diamond would work

Ok... 2 of them going home on the 9th of April.

Quiltingmommy sent a dark forest green and asked for white star shaped so it would look like a snowflake.

    Dad said this would work:

Roseysue had a beautiful lilac flower print...Dad said it made him sneeze. I didn't want to lose the beauty of the flowers so we went with a simple D9P
