Booth

I've done a few booths like this. I find if you have an item for under $5.00 you can sell lots and at least pay for the space. I make dish towels out of 'birdseye diaper material' hard to find lately. I then take a strip of fabric, or strip of border print, put it at one end, make sure all sides are dobule hemmed. I sell them for $2.50-$3.00 each depending on venue. I usually make at least two of each fabric design as I quickly learned most people buy 2. good luck, I envy your sunshine

Moonpi,
Great idea - I have a pattern with flip flops on it... hmm-mmm-mm. My friend is on her way here now - we are going to WalMart to see if they have bird's eye diapers - if not, Target does and we'll go there - improvise with these instead of the material - so we can get them finished quickly - I'll post more pictures... I PROMISE - we've had some life happening around here and I haven't had a chance yet, but things seem to be in order more now so... tonight I'll post some pictures.

I used to sell crafts at these kinds of fairs. People will buy little inexpenseve stuff for their children. If you can sew up a quick stuffed flannel doll with soft stuffing from these are really popular. You have to use fabric markers for eyes and mouth (no buttons for little tykes). Just a ribbon around the neck for decoration.

How about cell phone holders? Here's a free "use me and share me" pattern

They wouldn't take up much space and you could work them up fast.

Good luck with sales! Sounds like you'll get plenty of traffic with the Beach Boys there. Everyone's ideas are great. Free samples are a big draw too. Even if it's penny candy. Get them in your booth and they'll HAVE to buy something!
