I am new to quilting and not very good choosing colors yet. What color would you use for a second border and for the binding? This quilt is for my nephew who is not serving in Afganistan. Thanks for your help.

How about the yellow color you used in the centers?

maybe a beige color as your second border and a dark green as your binding?

I think I'd pull one of the darker colors out of the camo.

Yellow used in the squares would do for me.

if you have any yellow left, i'd do an inserted skinny folded border (i think it's called a faux piping) and then maybe a brown one larger. just a touch of yellow would work. but not really needed since it's a guy quilt.

I would use colors from the camo for borders and use the yellow for corner squares.

Yellow would be my next border and then I would pull a dark color out to use, if I wanted another border.
