I probably would add a border. Maybe a zinger (1/2 inch to 1 inch) of the red, and the darker blue on the outside? Or do you have a piece that sort of pulls all of the colors together; a print?

Many antique log cabins didn't have a border.

Depending on your size you might want to add just a narrow border -- the width of one of the strips -- in the red color and then bind it in blue.

Or a piano-key border using the colors inthe quilt, after a narrow border looks really nice on these quilts, too.

I think a border, possibly red, would make the block all come together and show off them off better. It is looking good, though. Keep up the good work.
