It still needs borders, but I'm loving how it is coming out! The design is my own and I got the embroidered blocks from a vendor on Ebay last year. The one thing I am concerned about is that I didn't shrink the fabric the embroidery is on, so I'm hoping it doesn't cause a problem.

I am going to quilt some hockey players in the diamond blocks in a black thread (from www.quiltrecipes.com), and I found some hockey sticks to quilt in the corner stones, but not sure what I will do for quilting the rest of it just yet. I've spent hours viewing digital quilt patterns online and have not found anything I like just yet.

No quilt police please! I know I messed up a few points, but my 11 year old nephew is not going to care!

The Bruin's logo is an embroidery patch that I got from a vendor on Ebay, it is nice and soft, not stiff. I paid about $50 for a dozen last year and it was well worth it!

Just do a search on Ebay for Boston Bruin quilt blocks, and the vendor will show up, it is acutally a doll clothing shop. They also do the all pro teams. I don't know what the fabric is the embroidery is on, so next time I use them, I will send some white Kona if allowed.

The yellow I found at Walmart, it has that orange marbled tone in it that is often seen in Bruin clothing and the black and white fabric is Kona.

I'll be making another one in the future with the NE Patriots logo and that one will be MINE!
