this is not completed yet.. just wanted to show you what i have been up to today..
i have a gf in washington state who has seen my bags.. she sent me this fabric thru the mail and asked if i could make her a bow tuck..
well here it is .. i have to do the ties in red and add the button tomorrow..
isn't this fabric just beautiful !!!!

oh ,, and i have to sew around the top !! but you can see that !!!

very nice I love the colors and the stitching on the fabric.

Maybe i should look for a pattern for this. I could make a couple for the DGD

Was the thicker fabric hard to use in the purse? It is beautiful!!!

the fabric comes all embroideried like that.. i just added the fusible batting and put it together.. i didn't want to quilt on it... it didn't need anything from me in that area !!

no,, i don't think it was much different... i did it on my 1941 singer.. it handled it just fine.. and this particular fabric isn't heavy... i enjoyed watching this one come alive.. can't wait to finish it up.. i am going to do another one just like it but in reverse..

Oh, I have to say that is the prettiest bow tuck I've seen. I love that fabric!!!! What a beautiful job you've done.
