I finished my son's Boy Scout Quilt. He was a Cub Scout in the 1980s and my dad was a Boy Scout in the 1940s. I wanted to keep the shirt whole. Just cut out the backs and made pillows, too. It's queen size. I figured if I just gave the shirts to my son they would end up in a drawer. Now he can have the quilt as a reminder of his youth and in remembrance of his grandfather.

And, you did the hand quilting of the symbols ... that is a very inspirational touch and technique.
You ARE going to enter it into the fair this summer, RIGHT????

Oh my, that is soooooooooo amazing!! What a wonderful project and it came out terrific!! You must show that to BSA and see what they do with it!
