Your friend is very fortunate to have someone like you in her life. I made myself a recovery quilt which was on my bed while I recovered from surgery and I took to every chemo treatment. Now I use it when I am tired and need a nap. I know your friend will get a lot of comfort out of her quilt. You are a doll for making this!
P.S. My avatar is my recovery quilt.

How clever you are. I think I might even be able to accomplish that. I have always stayed away from patterns with circles but think this is one I would really enjoy doing. Thank you for including the directions.

Both are beautiful. I don't care for the breast cancer symbol. I had it also, am taking radiation treatments now and will be on anti-hormone medicine for the next 5 years.

Your quilts are beautiful. I am a breast cancer survivor of over thirty years. I wish your friend the best and hope she can also be a survivor. Friends and family were my greatest comfort.
