    Bright Eyes....finished today

This was from a piece of focus fabric I bought from Rented Mule when she was having her half price sale. 1.98 a yard!!!! This was Bernatex "Abbey Road" and I just hated to chop it up. Pulled all the rest from my stash and used a pattern I found in a Holiday 2010 Quilter Magazine called "Victorian Greeting." Was a breeze to put together, and DH helped pick the colors. Enjoy... 56 x 65. Will layer and get ready to quilt this weekend.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Diet Dr. Pepper in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

I can see why you didn't want to cut it up. It sure makes a pretty quilt. Great job.
No matter how tough life is, it sure beats the alternative.

Beautiful, love that focus fabric. You and Hubby did a great job on the colors to go with it. Great job.
