But it is a different Brother than I had planned. The one I wanted is only sold with site to store method, and they told me it could be as long July 26th! I am not that patient, so we came home and did more research. Jim said this was my best bet, so when he cashed his paycheck this morning, he went in and got this for me. It is the SQ9000.

I spent a great deal of time slowly reading the manual and finally did some sewing around 2pm.

YAY!!! You got the same one as me!!! I love this little machine...it is quite powerful and "intelligent" for the price!! I'm entirely happy with it.

What a cute machine. I loved my Brother. It is my backup machine now but it is a workhorse.

Congrats on your new "baby"! I have a Brother as well, the Innovis-40, and I love it! It's a workhorse for sure!

I have two brothers, an Innovis900 and then it is my great fortune to have the Quatro, Hoever the 900 is the one I use the most for sewing and quilting. The other runs mostly as an embroidery machine. I love them both.
