    Hi everyone,

it's been awhile since I've posted--going back to work with 2 little ones is hard work! I check in every once in a while, but have been too busy to get much quilting done.

This is a bullentin board in my new library. I used my die cut machine to cut the letters/shapes. I plan to re-use the same quote every October--work smarter not harder.

Does anyone have a better idea of how I can attach the letters/shapes without staples? The staples make the fabric pucker. I have fusible interfacing on the back. Maybe the adhesive "dots" that scrapbookers use? I don't want it to permantly adhere to the fabric as I want to use the background fabric again next month.

I've also posted Malachi's dedication pictures and 5 mo. picture in my PDA section.

    keep quilting!

How about glue sticks? They come in non-permanent versions.

Can you cover the board with felt instead of fabric? If so, felt dots on anything you want to put up will make them stick. Some die cuts will even cut shapes out of felt.

Would it "gum" up the fabric? I want to be able to re-use everything.

I've never used it before--how good does it work? does it leave a residue?

My die cut machine would cut felt like butter--it cuts anything you can cut with scissors including thin sheets of metal, magnet sheets, template plastic, etc.

I think the felt would be a great idea--I'll have to try it with the bullentin board in my office to see how it works.

Thanks for the ideas everyone! keep 'em coming.

What about the sticky velcro dots? Just on the letters...

I use push pins but that leaves holes, also,

I think 505 on the letters would probably be the easiest choice.
