Default Burgoyne Surround Quilts x 2 scrappy style

Someone had posted this type of quilt and I knew I just had to make a scrappy one. Well, one turned into 2 and now I have two wedding presents ready to mail away one to Canada and one to Michigan. The largest one is going to my teacher friend who moved, the center of each block is the same to represent Heather and all the scrappy pieces represent the people that have been touched by her warmth. The smaller quilt is for the daughter of the teacher with whom I worked the most for in Canada, Gail's daughter married a young fella from Holland so I added a blue border for his home land ( you know blue and white always seemed to be Dutch colors to me.) I love scrappy quilts and put a good dent in my scraps and odd fat quarters.

Your quilts are beautiful - I like the border on the 1st one. This is on my bucket list. Just hope mine turns out 1/2 as nice as yours.
