Butterflies and Blooms, spring crumb wallhanging

A couple of weeks ago I bought some new plastic tubs in which to organize my scraps. I came across a handful of scraps and a couple of orphan blocks from a quilt I made 6 years ago for a good friend. I was going to make a mug rug, but it quickly grew to wall hanging size. It made me happy to use a few of my scraps, not that it made even the tiniest dent in the scrap collection.

That is really pretty and the colours are stunning. Nice work with scraps.
Home is where the heart is, and a few scrappy quilts.
