I am making a baby quilt for a friend's grandaughter who is expecting a child in June. My friend requested all pastel colors. I will embrodier the mane, saddle and face onto the rocking horse. Isn't it a cute pattern?

I went to the thrift store Sat. and look what I found for $4.25! love deals like this to build my stash.

rocking horse - the fabric has dragon flies on it.

these are the other colors I am using - what looks like pink is actually lavender

1 yd. of the pink dots for $1.00 and 3 yds of the blue floral for $3.25. I know just where to use them both.

Your quilt is sooooo cute. I've not seen anything like this. Also, you got a great find in fabric.

The rocking horse is adorable. If it were mine I would be adding a mane (loose yarn or floss) cause I can never leave well enough alone. It is very cute.
