While we were on holiday last week, dh and I were browsing round a quilt shop and I spotted this great bag! Lovely man that he is (lol!)...he bought it for me, but I cant seem to find out anywhere what the pattern is called!
I really should have asked the lady in the shop (she was the one who made it) but I just did'nt think at the time!
I think it's a pp pattern...and I love it.......so can you help identify it?

Yep Izy´s got it sussed. We did a similar type at the Group but it was a straight log cabin. Very effective.

I like this one better though. You lucky lady you. :D

I just knew someone on here would know what the pattern was! Many thanks to you all!....Izy if you have the pattern I would be grateful to you but if not don't worry.....I'm sure I'll find it somewhere!
The shoulder hasnt been too bad just lately, but it hasnt had a long sewing session...I've just been having an hour or two at a time so its not getting too much punishment! lol!

Karen

I have the book 101 Log Cabin Blocks by Linda Clausee which was bought in hobbycraft.
There are two patterns in there similar to the block on your bag.
One is Spinning Log Cabin & the other is Toppling Log Cabin.
I can photocopy both & pop them in the post to you, don't know exactly where you are in South Yorks but I am in Nottingham.
PM me your address if you want them.
