I've been working on this off and on for a month or so. It's from Primitive Garden and is a wool, machine applique wall hanging. I don't typically buy kits but got this one through someone and had to do it up. The wools are hand dyed and I machine appliqued with poly embroidery thread. I had to put it aside a few times as the kit directions for the half square triangles was incorrect. It took me a while to finish as I'm very picky about my piecing and making sure all the points are to my satisfaction. I have no idea how to quilt it as I'm just glad to be done with the top. I'm thinking plain SITD as any overall quilting may take away from the appliques.

It probably needs a good pressing and some stray thread removal.

I LOVE that quilt. I like anything with flowers and the dark background really makes it pop. Good job.

I agree with the SID for quilting.

I love it! I have been collecting wool for some time now, and have a few blocks done, but have yet to put anything together. I think you have done a great job!

I love your floral quilt. You did a great job. The hand dyed wools make this quilt extra special.
