Caroline sent me this quilt for long arm quilting...her other quilt which was called "oceanica" is listed here:

http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-104685-1.htm

On this quilt I outlined all of the main designs in the fabric as well...and just kept all other designs very whimsy and simple. The fabric and piecing speaks for itself. It is a beautiful quilt. Perfect for her DGD. I quilted in black thread except for the big flower blocks. She had appliqued those circles in the middle of the black square and I had to go in there with a brightly colored variegated thread and do different flower design to go with the quilt. I just love them.

* The pictures don't show the colored thread very well..but it is actually very bright against the black fabric.**
The pictures aren't very good...sorry.

Caroline sent quilters dream cotton batting for this quilt.

I also quilted this freehand on my INNOVA. No pantograph or computer quilting.

Thanks for looking!

Thank you Charisma. As usual an awesome job of quilting. I love how your quilting ideas mirror mine. Can't wait to meet the quilt in person.

I love, love, love the border fabric. Already found a source on line. Think I may just have to order this and the panels.

What a lovely quilt. The stitches are amazing around the circles. Not that good yet.
