Some of you already know my son Carl. He has made 10 quilts for QOV from start to finish with the help of his coach.

Carl (age 14) and Cole (age 13), two of my boys are starting their own business... this is a training piece that is going to be donated to a local charity for Breast cancer Awareness month in October.
They are trying to get their all over stipple consistent. I think Carl is doing very well...He has a few areas..where he got tired last night....but he is also trying to learn how to get in and out of areas and go around appliques. Very good! ..I really only have to tell him something once and he picks it up very easily.

We used Hobbs polydown batting and he quilted this on an 18 INNOVA.

Some of you may recognize these blocks as they were part of a swap we did awhile back here on the QB!

Thanks so much!

You must be a proud mother and rightly so. Way to go, Carl.

I am impressed!
First, you are passing on a skill to your boys,
and the quality of work he is doing...
