    Default Carol's Barn Quilt

I am in awe of the beautiful hand embroidery that Carol did on her barn quilt. Carol loves doing hand embroidery and spends many evening hours working on her beautiful creations. This one, I had the honor of quilting for her. I used Hobbs 80/20 batting, A & E perma core thread in beige and dark brown. A lot of outline quilting to enhance the barns then used a ruler for the crosshatching in the sashings. Freehand quilting in the cornerstones and inside borders, then finished it up with straightline quilting in the outside borders.
