Thread: CARS quilt

    Here is the CARS quilt I was commissioned to make. Boy, oh boy, is that Licensed fabric expensive!!! If I ever do another one I will just do a panel in the center and do borders around it. This took almost 2 yards to get enough "fussy cut" squares.
    I was also disappointed in the satin binding, it only has cars on one side, the other side is red/blue checked.
    The quilt is 44" x 49 1/2" - it is for a 3 yr old boy.

    Where did you find the backing fabric. I think that's the only one of cars that I don't have.

    The backing is flannel - I got it at JoAnn's along with the cotton fabric I used on the front.
