Wink "Fake away"-Quilt

Hi!
My 2nd "quilt" was carried out in a highspeed mode..."BLUE-STAR-BOY"
(I first wrote all words together, but my wife asked what it means: "Blues tar boy???"
I am a big fan of Jazz and blues, though...
My youngest brother-in-law got their adoption desicion suddenly, after 7 years of waiting.
It´s a handsome babyboy and what else could we give him than a self-made Quilt.
I am in the middle of an other project (2nd quilt ever) but I wanted to make this one first.
So now my 2nd one turned to become the 3rd.
It´s not a real traditionally made quilt, but "look a like" fleece.
I made squares with a zigzag after I had embrodered some pictures on flat fleece.
Backing and border is Laura Ashley´s and padding is a filtermat used in shipyard painting halls.
It´s 3-times cheeper than a padding they sell at fabricstores here in finland, and quality is 2 times better...
Allergy-free and washable in high degrees.
After 7 hours of hard labour (embrodering included) here is a result:
Now, back in "business" with my 3rd.

Great job T-J-K. You put a lot of work into this one. I'm sure your little nephew will love it. Hope to see a picture of #3 posted soon.
