Here's my WIP. This is the first time I've done Cathedral Windows. So far...so good I think!

How pretty it is turning out to be. You have a good eye for color, beachbirdy!

That is beautiful. I love cathedral windows, but it looks so difficult I have never even looked at a pattern. And don't tell me "it really isn't that hard," because then I'll have to add another quilt to the someday list!

Seriously, you are doing a fantastic job on this. I can't wait to see the finished product. Your colors are so cheerful. Will you be using unique fabrics in every window or will you have repeats?

I LOVE your fabric choices. How large is it going to be?

Its going to 44" wide and I'm not sure how long yet. It's actually not hard at all...at least the method I'm using. I am doing it by machine as I don't like to hand sew. I'm also using a fat quarter bundle call "Nest" by Tula Pink. There are 32 different ones so I'm just going to use all of them randomly through out. I am making it for my Mom, she picked out the bundle not knowing the name...she just liked the colors. The funny thing is it is of course bird related but not real obvious but my name is Robin and I call my sewing room The Nest...too funny! I'll post more pictures as it goes.
