Here are some pics of a wall hanging that I finished up last night using a panel from Thimbleberries. I called it "Kite Boys". Can you tell I'm ready for summer? :D

It measures 32" x 34". The Thimbleberries panel had an outer border in a color I didn't like (the same as that orangy thin inner border) and I thought it was distracting, so I whacked that off and added my own outer border of that sky blue material, which I think suits it much better.

I had a lot of fun with the quilting on this one, especially that grassy area. I did the free-motion quilting in that area to follow and accentuate the grass blowing in the wind. Now I'm ready for the March winds to start blowing so I can go fly a kite! :)
