This is a thread painting that I did by first transferring a photo to fabric, then zig zagging free motion with many thread colors, topping it with the shrimp boats outline. Then I put 2 borders on and sandwiched between black backing.
Very easy and lot of fun to do.
As you can see, the sun was setting which left out much of the intricate details of the ships.

That's AMAZING! I don't think I've ever seen this technique before. You certainly did a wonderful job. Love it.
