Default Charleston Garden

Here is a good scrap quilt I just finished. The pattern is free here http://www.pbtex.com/GRDOpattern.pdf

I made a few changes. Instead of a circle applique, I did a flower shape on my embroidery machine, and then after quilting, sewed a button in the center.
I also changed the pieces beside the white strip - instead of 2.25 inch pieces, I made string pieced sections using my bin of 1.5 inch strips.

I call it Charleston Garden because of the applique flowers, and, having grown up in Charleston, the white strips reminded my of paths in a garden.

Thanks for the pattern link! I love how you did the centers of your blocks with flowers- that opens up a lot of possibilities in my head!

I would love to see the picture larger. Is there anyway you can repost the pic?
