    I think I`ll do as the pattern suggests....STD around the squares , corner to corner in a X in the squares and just lines on the sashing...i found this pattern in Quilty Summer 2012 and it is by Kathy Russi....I just made it bigger than in the mag........

    I love how the colours work with each other to create energy in the top. If it was sashed in black it would look Amish. Great quilt top!
