I love your rug! Was your fabric already striped, or did you piece together strips to get that striped effect? Also, if already striped, was it printed on the diagonal? I thought the cuts had to be made diagonal to the grain of the fabric. Sorry for all the questions, but I want to learn so I can make them for myself.

These are so easy, all you do is:
    1) take 6 layers of cotton fabrics, square up to the size you want, Mine is 24 x 36. this fabric was striped on the diagonal which made it extra easy.
    2) Otherwise you mark your first line diagonally and sew, then you use your guide to sew the next lines 1/2 inch apart, Sew entire area of fabric keeping seams 1/2 inches apart.
    3) Square up.
4)Cut top 3 layers in between all seams.
    5) Bind as you would a quilt.
    6) Wash, Dry and shake out and you are done!!!
    Beautiful Creation!!!!
