    Default Chevron top done

I had no problem putting the chevron pieces together but I had a horrible time with one side of the quilt putting on a border...ripped it out three times and finally cut a new border piece and did not measure down the middle as I always do. This time I just sewed so it would fit. For some reason one side of the quilt was very stretchy. Top is done...next weekend FMQ and binding will be done.

I love the cat fabric. My husband loves his kitties...so I made him this one for his reading chair. He helped design it. He really wanted the cat border.

Turned out great! I am guessing it was the side with the bias edges that gave you trouble?

Yup and I pinned it in down in so many places and it did not make a difference. I will need to read up on how to solve this for the next time I make one. I did not starch my fabric this time either since i ran out.
