I made this fun quilt top for my DD from the quilt book, Chicken Buffet. I machine appliqued using a small blanket stitch with black rayon thread and I used scraps and fabric from my stash...now to sandwich and quilt. The second pic is a wall hanging I made to enter in our LQS red, white, and blue challenge contest. It will be viewer's choice and the winner will receives a $50 gift certificate.....I'm up against some serious talent! Thanks for looking.

I'm so glad to see the Chicken Buffet done. I have the pattern but have not tackled it yet. Seeing yours makes me want to go dig mine out. Its in my to-do pile. Thanks for sharing that.
Your second is a sure win in my opinion. :thumbup:

I love the chickens! My sister collects chickens and I may just have to make her a quilt. She will be 50 in December. It would be perfect for her! Thanks for sharing. Good luck with the wall hanging!
