This is my third quilt to hand quilt. I love the hand quilting. Before this one I've matched my thread to the fabric so the stitches are not as visible. But this quilt is a 9 patch and snowball so there is a large 12 x12 white space on every other block. I followed Borntohandquilts directions on needle marking and this is the start of the first block. My stitches are not as tiny as borntohandquilt, but I'm working on keeping them the same size and looking the same on top and bottom.

There will be more quilting in this block, but this is the start. I think it will look good with the blue thread to match the blue 9 patches.

Your stitches are wonderful. Love to see handquilting. I can only do the caveman quilting (big and uneven stitches) but on smaller quilts this looks good too. Will be anxious to see the whole quilt done. Have fun.

Wow, I am impressed. Handquilting is something I would like to get good at too, but I have a long way to go to get to what you are able to accomplish (nice even stitches). Wonderful work.
