Made from Julie's shirts her mother has save from, head start through high school. It also has bandannas, a pocket from her softball pants and a pair of tights worn for cheer leading.

full/queen size

Thanks.
I guess I should have explained about the making of this quilt...since I had don't that in a reply to another message, wasn't thinking that it would be helpful to put it here also.

Anyway, I cut the t-shirt sleeves out, the neck ribbing and the shoulder seams off along with the bottom hem, then opened the shirt down each side.
I ironed thees pieces to lightweight woven interfacing so I could cut neatly.
I wanted each row of block to be the width of the bandannas that I used which were 16 in. and wanted to use sashing between the blocks but didn't want it to meet with one next too it. I could built up the 16 in width if needed by adding other t-shirt fabric, and increase or decrease the height by cutting different heights from the shirt. There was a bit of layout and calculation to get this to work.

These are the Winona Wildcats in the town to me, rivals to the Eminence Redwings.
I thought I would have problems with working with the purple and gold, but found the right color of broadcloth for the sashing and lucked out with the purple homespun

Linda, I would be glad to answer any questions you have on the construction. But be advised, I'm no expert...I've only made this one t-shirt quilt.

I've had a request to make another t-shirt quilt, I think I may try using spray basting adhesive to attach the shirt to a base lightweight cotton, so I shouldn't get the stiffness as I did with the fusible interfacing.
