    Default Christmas gift quilt

I made this quilt from a picture I saw online for a wall hanging. The wall hanging used two rows of 2 1/2" squares around the center panel. I wanted to make this into a throw for my daughter who lives on Red Bird Court. I found a picture of a Cardinal online and blew it up and I used 5 1/2" squares around the center for a total size of approx. 50" x 65". This is what I came up with - without a pattern. She loved it!

I love your daughters quilt. I keep thinking that I'll make the smaller version.

That is beautiful! I love the bright red against the white and neutral fabrics.
