Default Sad to this go.

Made this quilt in 2003 and sold it to a family member for a wedding gift.Sad to see it go but my finished quilts are piling up and need to part with a few.Does anyone have an attachment to some favorite ones?

I have an attachment to lots of quilts ... and sometimes have a problem starting a project for someone else, as I want it for me, not as a give-away!

The colours flow so nicely in that quilt that I can totally see why you are to see it leave. Just remember that you had it for nine years and now someone else can enjoy it.

Wow, that is beautiful!
I haven't a pile yet, all of mine go straight in a gift box or on a bed, ha ha. I sure would have hated to see that one go out the door for sure. ~ Pat

I don't ever seem to keep a quilt for myself -- they all go to others. That's a lovely quilt, and I'd hate to part with it if it were me!

It's so calming, so beautiful. I understand how you feel.
But look at it in another way - you've enjoyed making it, now you get to earn some cash (for more fabric), and a lovely couple gets to use it for years to come. Isn't that great!

The quilt is gorgeous. Yes there are a many quilts I am attached to. Luckily I teach and show quilts at nursing homes so I get to keep most of my quilts.
