It took me 2 1/2 years - but I finally finished the quilt that brought me to this board.

I had purchased Joann Fabric's Sunny Days Block of the Month Quilt Kits - on clearance.

So, I dutifully followed the directions and made the individula blocks. I even found the setting kit on clearance. I started the assmbly process and found from this board that one is supposed to square up blocks to a uniform size prior to assembly.

So some blocks do not fit correctly together. I made mistakes on the assembly of the blocks.

I worked this past year through the wonderful Doll Quilt Swap on learning how to bind the quilt.

Well, I finally finished the quilt - quilting and bound. It is done and it is mine!!!

It may come in last place if I ever submitted it to a quilt show, but as my grandmother used to say, even an ugly baby is loved by its mother. And I love my very first queen size quilt.

Thanks -
I know where all the mistakes are LOL!!

My husband said it was good, so he did not notice the mistakes. I am my own harsh critic
