Default Christmas presents for my son's

I finally got them both finished in time for their Christmas presents. These are quilts I did aver the year a block of the month project. Threes Company by Thimble Berries on one I did use the thimbleberries fabric and on the other the fabrics were chosen by my friend the LQS owner. Boys are not very excited about quilts but they did seem to like them. Sorry about the color my flash decided not to work the day I made these. Thanks for looking Gerrie

I have boys, too, so I know what you mean about their not getting excited about quilts. If they seem happy, that's a great sign. Both are beautiful but I like the second one more...probably has to do with my favorite colors!

Beautiful, I find men and boys appreciate quilts more than some women.

I have the opposite. My boys ooh an aah over the things I make and the girls are less enthusiastic. I think they are into a decorating scheme and just wouldn't use the ones I enjoy making.

Amazing quilts! What a lot of work went into these. I think quilt appreciation depends on other factors than sex - age, experience, likes and dislikes - many other factors. What I see is a great piece of work fashioned to show love, and as they grow in the appreciation of that love and all you do to manifest it, they'll grow in appreciation of the quilts. They are truly beautiful gifts.
