My sister likes old Santa Claus's. I have the following fabric and I just wanted all of your help in how to quilt it. The fabric with the snowflakes is red but there is only about 1/2 yd. The white fabric has holly leaves on it and I have about 3 yds of it.

I am not sure if it is my screen, but the red in the fabric with the snowflakes looks too light....just my opinion though.

It is because of the picture I have taken. It is a little lighter. I also have a poinsettia with gold outline and I also have some other red from Thousands of Bolts that is a darker red with gold curly q's on it. It is by Andover.

It looks like you have another panel of the Santas. Are you going to use that in the quilt, also? Say, piece the panels together and then quilt it into a lap size or bigger? What size did you plan to make?

I really don't know what size quilt to make and yes there are 2 other Santa Claus's that I have to use. I cut them apart and thought I would put the white in between the Santa's.

Are you asking about what to use for sashing/piecing, or how to quilt it? If asking about sashing...the white looks nice, but I think to snow flake red is too light a value compared to the other, and looks a bit pink. Show us your other options.....?

I really like your panels, but I think the snowflake fabric is not "serious" enough for those panels lol.
the snowflakes would be cute with snowman :-D
I would pick some of the colors of the panel and audition those next to it.

I have added the fabric that I could use instead of the snowflake one. If you need to each one separately let me know and I can add the pictures.

Well, I think those look more like it, but can't tell which I would like personally without seeing them next to the project. I see all kinds of possibilities with those though. What do you like?

I love that stripe, but I can't tell if it is a green or gold in the fabric. It would be perfect for a border.
The green in the panel is really dark but it looks like it has some gold in it.
