I started a tablerunner around Christmas time and had only finished the top. It got put on the back burner because I did not have a material (that I liked) for the back. On Mother's day the lqs had a sale and I found a fabric that I liked to use for the back. But of course I did not purchase enough, so I needed to piece the back and got a little carried away. It is now doublesided and I think it looks alright.

Nothing wrong with that. You did a good job and you'll be able to enjoy it for a long time.

Good job!! I have one of those runners I made for baseball season, but I didn't put a back on it. Reminds me that I need to get going before football starts.
