Here are some pics of the quilt I am making for future DIL best friend. I have to have it done by Christmas.   I hope I make it. Right now I am pinning it......my poor knees   . This is my least favorite part of quilting. This ole bod just can't take it the way it used to.
the middle is a panel and then I just added borders. I am gonna just stitch in the ditch for the most part and then something decorative thruout the panel as I am a novice at best quilting and since it is a gift I do not want to mess anything up. Colors are more vibrant than they show up in the pics.

What a quilt!! Hey, have you discovered basting spray??? It's a lifesaver, and it really works!!!!!!!!!! You will save your knees, time and everything. It's one of the best quilting inventions ever. Plus, you can still manipulate it when you're quilting. Try 505, it's supposed to be the best!
