Default Grandma....I want a quilt in orange!

Well....friends, you know how it goes. One Granddaughter gets a quilt and another Granddaughter wants one too. This one asked for "orange" because she said it is her favorite color and it is so difficult to find any decor in orange. So, I started collecting fat quarters in orange wherever I went. After about 8 months, I had enough to make her quilt.

I chose the Disappearing Pinwheel pattern by Missouri Star Quilt. The more it came together, the more I loved it and all the orange variations. This is a very easy pattern to make :-) Hope you like it. she sure did :-) I have called it 'Orange Glow'.

Orange is fun and so is this quilt! My daughter likes it too - and I've been petrified of working with it. Once you get going, it's really fun. Lucky girl!

I do love this quilt - and I'm sure dgd will be wildly happy to get it! It's striking and sure to 'make' her room.

What a lovely quilt! I am also looking forward to making that pattern. This is the quilt I made when asked for "autumn" colours.
