I made this for our friends for Christmas last year. I have know them since our daughters were in day care together 21 years ago. They have remained friends all these years and well as us parents. We are Jewish but they invite us over to their house every Christmas Eve and unless we were on a trip somewhere, we've never missed one yet.

Very pretty! I love the combination of cross stitch and quilting.

So true - these are such good friends that when our kids were young (my son was only 18 months old), my husband and I wanted to go to Italy, so our friends offered to watch our kids, my daughter was 4. 2 weeks before our trip, John (our friend) slipped on the ice and broke his leg. He spent 10 days in the hosiptal and even with all the problems with his leg in a cast, they still watched our kids. Now that's a friend indeed.
