Default Church Craft Festival

I did my first craft festival. It was a lot of fun. I did make a few sales. Not nearly as much as I wanted, but I pretty much broke even, and at least that paid for my fabrics. I sold some purses, table runners, a couple of lap quilts, kitchen towels & one larger quilt. I met a lot of people & had fun talking to everyone. The vendor next to my booth said that it had been her worst year ever and she's been doing this festival for years, but she encouraged me to come back next year. I'm still thinking about it...not sure, yet. But, if I do, I will make more Holiday purses. I had only made 5 and they sold right off the bat. Live & Learn. Below is a picture of me & my friend who did the festival with me. She made pillows. I'm the one in the green jacket. Sorry that the picture is blurry. I'll blame it on the lighting or my husband who took the picture

Your table looks like it had a great selection! Sounds like you did well compared to a slow year.

Great job - I have never tried one as I would have a heck of a time deciding on what to make!!

So glad you had a neat experience. I've done craft shows and some good, some bad, but you meet some of the nicest people along the way.

Craft shows are a great way to meet people. Glad you had a good time. Each one your in the more you learn peoples likes and dislikes. Hope you decide to do another one.

Thanks for sharing the picture and the event! Sounds like you did enjoy it, I think times are tight for many. Maybe next yr will be better. I have never done a show.
