This is a really lovely quilt. It's good that your hubby appreciates it.
Probably almost every quilter on this board had substantial help beginning to quilt. I know I did. Unlike some art forms, quilters are generally more than ready to help a newbee. At first, I thought it was the lovely people in my newish home town, but when I travel, I find the attitude is widespread. Of course, this also means that YOU will help the next person.

Aren't quliting friends great! It doesn't matter if they are there in person or out in the cyber community. Your quilt is beautiful and the border is simply stunning. I'm glad your husband likes it. Keep enjoying your hobby.
