Lucky sister! Those are handsome looking roosters... Your binding looks great - would you use that technique again?

Very nice. That is the only type of binding I do on my quilts now. Fast, easy and I think it adds a lot to the overall looks of the quilts. I found I had to play around a little with the size of strips, due to the very thin batting I use because of Florida heat. I use Quilters Dream Request loft. I also played around with the width of the seam where I sewed it to the back. Once I got that the way I wanted, I never looked back! LOL I love your table runner. I'm a fan of Roosters and love the color red. I'm sure your sis will love it.

I just checked out the link and my flange binding has different measurements. My main binding is cut at 1 1/2" and flange 1 3/4". Jenny Doan from MSQC has a good tutorial on flange binding on you tube.

I've seen that binding technique before and really liked it. It works great with your roosters, which are adorable.

Love your rooster table runner, & I'm sure your sister will enjoy that on her table. I like roosters as well.
