I made this using dozens of old corduroy trousers. When going through my corduroy "stash" I found many trousers I had been wearing myself as a child. Luckily my mother and grandmother kept every piece of clothing and fabric which might be reusable one day. I had a big box of corduroy trousers to go through and pick my favourites. Apart from the backing I didn't buy anything, it's really all old trousers from my family.

I left out the corner pieces on purpose, that way it folds nicely over my bed.

My boyfriend is balancing on the carpet rod in the garden in order to display the whole bed throw. (And again my computer has turned the picture the right way up but it fails to show correctly here)

Gosh, I love this!! Beautiful colors! They all look so good together. A truly handsome quilt and filled with good memories too!

Lovely!!! I see there is a DP16 tutorial on the net. How did you control the bias so well?
